I got into this industry to Bring Character. To listen to great stories and tall tales, to bring out the character in a piece of land. To create relationships that bring people of high character together in transactions where nobody feels confused about what’s going on. I believe that it’s my job to listen, then speak the truth clearly, to keep “confusion” out and clarity at the center. A ranch was the first thing I understood as a child, running around for days on end listening to the sounds of nature and observing whatever I could notice. The land itself is a passion, but only because I love to share it with people. There’s no point in seeing something special if you can’t share it with other folks who are interested.Many ranch land sellers and buyers have walked away from their ranch experience confused, or feeling like they left something on the table. There’s a tendency to gloss over the pertinent details on either side of a land deal, so it’s my job to pause, and make sure everyone is considering the real priorities. When I say “everyone” I mean it. Buyers, sellers, brokers, everyone has the potential to walk away feeling like a winner.Know what is real and what is artificial, then speak the truth no matter what.
