Nuclear-trained Surface Warfare Officer with proven experience in engineering management and team leadership. Integrating tomorrow's cutting-edge capabilities in the Fleet today - including space and unmanned. Leading a DoD cross-functional team with U.S. Navy, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Space Command, and Defense Agencies to rapidly integrate emerging acquisition capabilities in the Maritime Operations Center. Active Top Secret / SCI clearance and leadership experience integrating Special Access Programs with Fleet operations. Former Commanding Officer with significant tours in the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. Led 450 Sailors in USS GOERGE H.W. BUSH Reactor Department through the Navy's most complex NIMITZ Class overhaul, including six major propulsion plant upgrades and over ship's force maintenance actions, delivering ship back to the Fleet on time and ready for combat. As Commanding Officer of a deployed Coastal Riverine Squadron, my team developed the maintenance and sustainment model for the Navy's newest patrol craft, enabling extended operations in U.S. Central Command. Serving as Director of Future Operations at U.S. Fleet Forces, I led the design and execution of four complex Fleet Battle Problems to evaluate emerging unmanned, cyber, and space capabilities supporting Distributed Maritime Operations. We teamed with the Warfighting Development Centers, Center for Naval Analysis, and SYSCOMs to test new capabilities and concepts and provided highly valued assessments to In-Service Engineering Agents, Resource Sponsors, and Type Commanders. We also produced three specific tailored demonstrations of space and undersea capabilities to evaluate the end-to-end efficacy of emerging technologies. I am an avid runner, a late-blooming Crossfitter, and a coffee enthusiast. A morning run with a sunrise is close to perfect. I love to connect people and ideas with technical ground truth to solve problems.
