I enjoyed 28 yrs with Bank of Queensland working in Brisbane, Townsville and the Gold Coast before finishing as Branch Manager Broadbeach and moving on into the big wide world. This included stints with Heritage Bank, PCS Finance (Management Rights Finance specialists) and Bendigo Community Bank Branch Mudgeeraba. Followed then by Foresters Community Finance and bcu credit union. I joined Foresters Community Finance in September 2014. Foresters operate in Micro Finance where they assist the financially excluded and also provided Organisational Finance by way of property and small business loans to NFPs and Social Enterprises. The Org Finance space gave me the most satisfaction during my time with Foresters. Banana Coast Community Credit Union was a 50 years young organisation that was on the move and looking to grow it’s footprint in Northern NSW and SE Queensland until a take over by P&N Bank. My time at bcu has come to an end and a new challenge awaits. And that new challenge is with Bank Australia. I had dealings with several Bank Aust people in my earlier role with Foresters so am pleased to be offered this role. Check the website for all that Bank Australia stands for it may surprise.
