Export Promotion and business development services • Has developed and provided business development services for exporters in over 15 Trade promotion Organisations • Experience of building export institutions in government and non-government Business support organisations including a market systems approach • Expert in Export Training • Expert in services for CE marking, conformity assessment and compliance with technical regulation and SPS standards • Has supported export value chain analysis, competitiveness and marketing on both a sector and enterprise basis 3. Evaluations • Undertaken a total of 22 evaluations, 10 for the EU and all in the area of Trade and private sector development, has designed 14 trade projects, and undertaken more than 15 trade impact studies • Participation in 10 complex evaluations in the last 10 years, of which 6 were EU funded and 7 were as team leader managing multi-disciplinary teams of experts • Extensive experience of EU aid modalities 4. Trade Negotiations • Extensive practical trade negotiation experience and understanding of the processes involved • An accomplished trade economist, expert in the preparation of negotiation papers including the use of quantitative analysis and economic models • Experienced trade negotiation trainer • Experienced in services negotiations and study having presented paper at UNCTAD XI Services Forum on Government's role.
