In the words of Rear Admiral David Farragut "Damn the Torpedoes, Full Speed Ahead"! My sincere apologies that there are those that viewed my previous summary as a negative take on our works in progress educational systems and that pointing out some of the truths as to why we are in the state we are in, but if you are in denial then your not in touch with reality. There is purpose to how our clergyman and woman start out sermons by pointing out the sins we commit and that more time then not we feel as though they are speaking directly to us. Then they point out that there is a solution posted in our scriptures and ultimately SALVATION! I often ask why it is that even when we finally come to grips with these realizations of how we should live our lives and treat one another we just ignore it and go back to doing the things that won't change things for the better. We must bring change to how we see things, do things and solve problems of the world for the sake of all mankind, but it won't occur until we begin to see things as they truly are, do things with a convection of accomplishing tasks with excellence, and solving problems with something other than a band aid. I am, and will always be a teaching professional (Facilitator of Learning) that will continue to strive to dispel the darkness that is ignorance, continue the mission of promoting education, and expect excellence in every outcome from myself as well as others around me. I can only hope and pray that many will join me so we may right this ship in order to continue our journey toward greatness and GLORY!
