As County Executive Officer for Merced County, I lead a high-performing organization focused on delivering results for our community. My role centers on executing the Board of Supervisors’ vision with discipline, urgency, and accountability—while driving a culture that expects excellence, values innovation, and prioritizes exceptional customer service. We are committed to being responsive, efficient, and outcome-driven in everything we do.I believe strong organizations are built on clear expectations, empowered teams, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement. Throughout my career with the County—including roles as Assistant County Executive Officer, Director of Community and Economic Development, and Director of Governmental Affairs—I have focused on strengthening performance, aligning teams, and advancing policies that produce measurable impact.My experience also includes private-sector work in government relations for a major energy utility, where I developed a deep appreciation for operational efficiency and the importance of delivering value to customers and stakeholders.Beyond my professional role, I’ve been honored to serve in a variety of leadership positions across education, economic development, healthcare, and workforce organizations—experiences that continue to shape my commitment to building strong partnerships and driving regional success.I am a proud United States Air Force veteran and a graduate of CSU Stanislaus, with certification in the Strategic Management of Public Organizations from the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. I am also a California County Credentialed Senior Executive, an American Leadership Forum Senior Fellow, and a graduate of the National Association of Counties High Performance Leadership Academy.I remain focused on building a culture of accountability and high performance—one that delivers meaningful results and improves the quality of life for the residents of Merced County.
