I became an accountant in after being a small business owner and opened Herron Accountants in North Lakes in 2010. As Principal of Herron, I work directly with business and company owners, offering realistic, useful advice that builds confidence in decision-making and helps lay the groundwork for long-term success. My background in small business ownership means I understand the challenges involved in running and growing a business—and I use that experience to provide the right support when it matters most to our clients. Helping owners to navigate the business landscape and build strong and successful operations is what gets me to work each day. I have seen pretty much every economic cycle, and lived through a few black swan events, so helping others survive and thrive in changing and fast-paced scenarios is what I do best. Looking at your numbers I can help you understand the story your business is telling you – when it wants to grow, if there is an issue coming up, when it is time to pause and take stock, its value and, when the time comes, the best way to move on. What you get from me as your accountant and advisor is timely advice without the jargon, and somebody to work alongside you breaking down complex issues into solvable parts.
