From my earliest days of Basic programming on a Texas Instrument TI-99/4A with its tape drive storage system and 300 baud modem to working with a modern PC and object orientated languages the challenges of Information Technology are continual and welcomed. My career has been mainly in post secondary education. I have moved from being a Developer to a Developer Team Lead. I enjoy the leadership role as it provides me a chance to mentor other Developers, work closer with clients and be involved with Information Technology standards and policy decisions within a large institution.
