About Mark Hofer

Over the last last 30 yrs as a plumber, 27 in the field, mainly in residential, the past 3 all commercial. I have worked with some great plumbers who groomed me while i was an apprentice. I took their knowledge and examples with me to use when i became a journeyman and past on to my apprentices. It feels good seeing young guys move up in ranks and are now running jobs themselves. Back in 2021 i had an opportunity to get out of the field and help continue building the pre-fab shop at Cornerstone, it was an opportunity i jumped at as i can still teach young kids who want to get into plumbing trade. Over the last 3 yrs we/I have been expanding what we can fabricate in house and provide quality craftsmanship to field workers to save them time and company money. With the correct information we fab underground, carriers, roof drains, water heaters, fixtures, in wall piping, pipe hang, pretty much whatever we can do to makes us more efficient. As Production Manager/Master Plumber I'm responsible for Quality Control, Production Process, Coordinating all production activities, inventory control of all raw materials, production flow and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.As we all know the one thing that is a constant in construction is change. I'm very organized, detail- oriented, strong multi tasking ability,enjoy a little "chaos" once in a while.
