About Mark Howley

I have been working professionally since graduating the University of Liverpool in 2005. I have held a number of roles in a number of companies, which have all contributed to my development and career goals. I enjoy reading about new technologies and have a long term goal of owning my own Integration Consulting business. I am currently a Senior Integration Consultant specialising in enterprise application integration technologies and design, with more than 10 years of experience in the IT Industry. I have built a thorough professional base, holding different positions within the domain like developer, application specialist and integration architect, with proven and appreciated track record. My passion within the integration area took me to Sweden (from U.K.), working for a multinational consultancy enterprise, where i took an active role in making the integration department successfully deliver first class integration services. The customer, a demanding global manufacturing company in town has been widely noticed for their early and efficient way of realizing integrations, using local expertise mixed with best shore developers and maintenance resources. Technically, i have strong background in Unix/Linux based systems, expertise within system development as well as demonstrated experience in integration design, patterns and frameworks. I also have a thorough understanding of system design challenges and fundamental knowledge in various tools and methods, including EDI. As a person i am solution-oriented, always eager to find creative solutions for customer business and technical needs. I have strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with abstract concepts, while at the same time being focused on the core.
