Corporate Relations Director at The Leaven, a 501(c)(3) corporation providing mentoring and tutoring for at-risk children in 22 neighborhoods in Northern and Southern California. Coming soon - Arizona and Tennessee! It was long on my bucket list to help a non-profit using my business development and project management background. When the opportunity to work at The Leaven and help at-risk K-5th-graders in low-income neighborhoods, I jumped on board. Never before did I find an organization that had such a great mission; to mentor & tutor at-risk kids within the neighborhoods where they live; and to do so with such amazing results - 100% of the children show significant improvement in literacy and math. My job with The Leaven is easy. I find businesses and business people that have a heart for at-risk kids and show them our results. When core values align partnerships are formed.
