I have been in aerospace all of my adult life. I started in the military as a AH1G Cobra helicopter crew chief as well as being a crew chief on the OH-58 Scout helicopter. Then on to a part 121 freight airline. Tradewinds Airlines which in 2008 was purchased and had name changed to Skylease Cargo, operating MD-11’s and 747-400 freight aircraft. Started as mechanic and worked up to Director of Quality. Was there for 32 yrs. I than went to TIMCO/HAECO as the Manager of Supplier Quality. This was with the Cabin Solutions side, a part 21 manufacturer of aircraft seats as well as interior configuration! I am currently with Genesis Aviation, Inc as their QA Mgr. This is a Part 145 Repair Station that works with Electro-Mechanical. Hydraulic, and limited Avionics articles. Since being here at GAI I have since taken the position of Chief Inspector for about the last 2 years!
