Got a two-for-one deal at Ohio University with my Forensic Chemistry degree (i.e, Analytical Chemistry + Law Enforcement Technology), plus a minor in Biology (from starting Pre-Med then realizing after my first quarter I was not going to be a doctor).Started at Abbott in 2002 as a Product Developer and learned how to make our products, then started Project Management in 2008 and had the pleasure of learning and leading international cross-functional teams on developing and launching nutritional products in US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Greece, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Pakistan, South Africa, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, Ecuador, and (ended up not launching, but also) China. Now (since May-2017) I manage our Freedom-to-Operate process (as the R&D representative) for our new innovations and work with our Legal department to answer their technical questions as we evaluate any and all Intellectual Property that comes our way.
