About Mark Ingalls

Mark is a registered professional building mechanical systems engineer who has 24 years of combined experience in the oil and gas and oil sands industry and the municipal water and wastewater treatment industry. The bulk of his work experience has been the design of HVAC systems for industrial buildings in the oil and gas and water treatment industries. He also has experience as a mechanical equipment package engineer for oil and gas processing equipment and as a hydraulic simulation modeler for oil and gas pipelines. Mark has designed industrial HVAC systems for a number of clients in the oil and gas and oil sands industries, including Syncrude, Suncor, Fort Hills Energy, CNRL, North West Upgrading, Imperial Oil and Petro Canada. Recent projects in water treatment and infrastructure design have included a number of clients including the City of Calgary, the City of Red Deer, the City of Camrose, the Town of Banff, the City of Airdrie, Calgary Transit, Parks Canada as well as private companies. Mark is the discipline specialist for the building mechanical group in the Calgary office for Associated Engineering. Previously, Mark had served as the HVAC discipline lead on his most recent projects with his previous employer and had taken training for his technical lead position, an introduction to project controls and had been trained and served as an internal technical auditor for the HVAC discipline of his previous employer. Mark has experience in many stages of project execution from preliminary front-end conceptual design through construction to field review and start-up, testing and commissioning assistance.
