About Mark Inglis

I am an orthopaedic surgeon with a particular interest in degenerative conditions of the hip and knee, including primary replacement, revision surgeries and direct anterior approach hip replacements. I also performs general orthopaedic surgery, including knee reconstructions, shoulder arthroscopies and adult trauma surgery. I consult privately at Flinders Private, Angaston, Balaklava and Ashford Hospitals. I am the Former Head of the Orthopaedic Unit at the Repatriation General Hospital and Former Director of Arthroplasty for the Southern Adelaide Health Network. Upon completing my medical training at the Flinders University and attaining the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedic Surgery), I worked with national and international surgeons undertaking hip and knee arthroplasty, including the direct anterior approach. In addition to clinical practice, I am a Lecturer in Orthopaedic Surgery at Flinders University and have research projects focused on outcomes of the direct anterior approach and enhanced care of arthroplasty patients.
