About Mark Iversen

Empathy, individualization, and connectedness have guided me since childhood. My grandfather, a Danish immigrant, taught me the power of remembering people’s names, making eye contact, and offering a firm handshake. As a foreman in 1930s California, he once led a team of 200 Mexican and Filipino farmworkers, many of whom were moved simply because he knew them by name. That lesson—that people come first—has shaped my leadership philosophy ever since.I believe vulnerability is a strength. By fostering trust, authenticity, and psychological safety, I bring together diverse personalities and help teams thrive. Colleagues would describe me as someone who cares deeply for the individual, leads with kindness, and builds lasting relationships.I pair a strong work ethic with a people-first mindset. No detail is too small, and no ask is too big—I work to ensure teams operate seamlessly as one cohesive unit.I also embrace innovation and see AI not as a threat but as a complement. Technology can’t replace emotional intelligence, empathy, or compassion. My strength lies in bridging people, teams, and ideas across organizations—helping others realize their full potential.Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, traveling and immersing myself in new cultures, reading, listening to music, and collecting vintage Western shirts and pressed pennies.
