About Mark J. Maluga

I graduated from the APA-accredited Clinical Psychology PhD Program at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, CA. I completed a postdoctoral fellowship with Chicago Lakeshore Hospital in Chicago, IL. where I served as clinical coordinator for the adolescent, university-age, adult and LGBT intensive outpatient programs. I have clinical experience with children and adults from underserved and mainstream populations in agency, county, state, and private practice settings. I have training in and experience providing mind/body interventions, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and Schema Therapy. with trauma, acute psychiatric, and co-occurring medical and mental health disorders. An integral component of my PhD was research training comprised of a research fellowship and two research practicums focusing on mind/body theory/interventions and complementary/integrative medicine. Currently, I am a visiting lecturer in psychology at Indiana University Northwest and a clinician with the Juniper Center, a multidisciplinary behavioral health practice. I am seeking an assistant lecturer/professor position with a diverse, inclusive college university or a clinical position in a medical setting working with mind/body or integrative medicine.
