About Mark Jama

I'm dedicated to my faith in God and try to conduct myself in like manner. I'm also a father and husband. I've been attending Aiki Jui-Jitsu for roughly over 25 years. I’ve been into diet and exercise for over a quarter of a century and I’m almost ½ century old. I can meet many physical demands and endurance. When I do my work out, it’s outside on concrete - not indoors. I’m not afraid to be bold in what I do or have people watch. I’ve been doing sales since I was in my 20’s. I’ve owned and operated my own businesses. I tend to find ways to overcome a challenge or obstacle. I’ve done what I had to do through blizzards, storms and extreme temperatures to get to my customers or clients. At present, I hold state licenses for investments and insurance, with the status of registered principal.(FL-214, Series 6, 63 and 26) In regards to my martial arts, I’ve led teams through various challenges, hikes and other outside events regardless of weather conditions. Sort of a “Real World” meets “Survivor” - with stories to tell. I’ve had private students and felt comfortable teaching a class here and there when needed. I may have a calm demeanor, but I am unsuspecting. I’ve also took a role in special event planning and fundraising for the Smithtown Veteran’s Youth Program on Long Island. A volunteer organization than ran for just over 3 decades that started in1993, with me being one of the original members leading to an officer position (I had the majority of input for designing the by-laws). It was also partnered with the county police I am comfortable with public speaking or standing in front of a crowd. I have prior experience conducting classes, guest speaking or lecturing. I’ve spoken at large universities for clubs or organizations or when I had to represent various companies I’ve worked for. With that in mind – I also like being involved with the community. I go the extra mile and then some. I look forward to connecting with you.
