About Mark Janz

I graduated from The Bissett School of Business at Mount Royal University in 2020 with a major in human resources, a major in general management, a minor in marketing, and an unforeseen global pandemic. I was fortunate enough to not only retain my employment with Loblaw (who I had began working for as a store keyholder at the beginning of my undergrad), but I was able to put some of the management skills I had spent 5 years honing into practice as an assistant store manager. I had the unique opportunity to be placed at multiple locations, getting to utilize my management skills in a variety of situations, with different types of people, and in different environments. The reason I majored in human resources was to create an atmosphere that individuals can be successful in; I realized I needed to do the same for myself post-pandemic, and relocated myself from Canada to the United Kingdom in April 2022. London is a place I had always dreamt of living in, and the liveliness of the city called out to me even more after the pandemic. When I'm not working an invigorating HR or marketing job in London by day, I'll easily be found at night enjoying some live music and indulging in any funky restaurants I can find!
