I am a very organized person; I operate well off of spreadsheets and structure, and like to improve upon procedures or methods when I see an opportunity to increase efficiency. I always act with integrity, am an extremely reliable employee, and dedicate myself to the details. I believe being effective requires great attention to detail. In the time since I joined iFixit, I've seen our warehouse needs grow from storing 10-15 pallets of product in a small office building to holding 400+ pallets in 2 warehouses. Receiving a single 40' container every few months has grown to over 20 in just the last year. Maintaining organization and accuracy throughout the process has been a challenge, as the tools I've used and or created to do so didn't previously exist. In my previous positions, I oversaw a two-story, 7,500 square foot warehouse full of over aviation lighting parts. I processed and pulled orders; often assembling multiple components into kits/units, or disassembling to harvest individual parts. Every unit we sold was tested before it leaves the building because quality control is, to me, a cornerstone in any business. I was also responsible for the coordination of sending parts out to certified facilities when additional testing was required, double-checking orders before shipping, and managing customer service inquiries (sales quotes, technical support, etc.) along the way. I handled inventory replenishment; checking stock, ordering, and checking-in shipments. Since most of our business consisted of fulfilling government contracts with strict deadlines, it was also my job to coordinate with our vendors to ensure the right product is ordered and production deadlines were adhered to. I enjoyed hands-on work in a small company environment, and working closely with my co-workers.
