About Mark Kehoe

G'day, I’m Mark! In 2010 I came to Australia. After a year or so I started my own education consultancy practice and since then I've been coming up with ideas, solving problems, nurturing teams through complex projects, and making sure what we learn is engaging, effective, and fun. Up until 2020 I spent my time travelling across Australia working with over 30 Universities, meeting with faculty and students alike. Projects ranged from increasing international recruitment numbers, creating an admissions system, and 4 whole-of-university rollouts for CX. I must have eaten in every student cafe from Adelaide to UQ; from UTAS to UWA. After 2020 and COVID shuttered the doors of my little consultancy business, I've switched to the VET sector working with small mom and pop RTO's to TAFE NSW. Most recently I've been helping setup new RTO's at a rate of about one per week - it's been a joy to help new businesses setup their vocational training. Away from work I've had a misspent youth playing in unsuccessful bands for nearly a decade then becoming a roadie (and for those of you old enough, ask me about my time with Take That). For me, being a musician taught me discipline, patience and making the best with what you have. We make our best work from good communication, a bit of creativity, a lot of collaboration, making harmony. So, whether it’s talking training strategy, campus food, setting up an RTO or what your favourite band is, I’m always up for a conversation.
