About Mark Kenny

I am a Training and Development Officer at Fastrack into Information Technology (FIT), an industry-led initiative that promotes an inclusive Smart Economy by creating a fast track to marketable technical skills for those at risk of long-term unemployment. I have over six years of experience in delivering tailored training and coaching to staff and students on key areas of sales, customer service, and optical dispensing, as well as CV preparation, interview skills, and confidence building. I am passionate about inspiring and motivating others to achieve their goals. I work in close collaboration with industry partners, education and training providers, and community-based organisations to enable greater access to employment for marginalised job seekers. I have received numerous positive feedback from tutors and students alike concerning my delivery of training presentations and one-to-one interview feedback sessions. I am also pursuing cybersecurity certifications from ISC2 (CC) to enhance my knowledge and skills in this growing and vital field.
