About Mark Khutan

A love for mathematical processes and working with people has steered my career choices, I have learnt and developed from both industries, as an Actuarial Consultant and a Mathematics educator. Within my former industry I enjoyed modelling cashflows and producing sensitivity analysis, I developed and improved processes using excel dashboards and some VBA programming. Producing reports for clients and working in a fast paced consulting environment is always exciting and nurtures within you a variety of skills, I found for me, one the most significant of these is being able to adapt and respond rapidly to shifting demands. Through teaching mathematics, it really allowed me to delve deep into understanding how to be an effective communicator yet still stay present in mathematical analysis as I have mentored hundreds of students to produce outstanding results in their A level Mathematics models. I am excited about the arrival of AI and already use it where possible to streamline and be more effective in both my communications and any analysis that I do. Looking forward to the future years and what they will bring, happy to drive success in all areas and associate with likeminded individuals looking to do the same.
