I concentrate my practice in New York State and New York City tax matters, and have more than 40 years of experience with federal, multi-state, state, and local (SALT) taxation. I have represented numerous Fortune 500 companies in connection with corporate, withholding, and sales tax audits as well as dozens of individuals who appear on the Fortune 400 list of wealthiest individuals in the United States in connection with state tax income tax and residency inquiries. I've been frequently quoted in the NY Times, the Wall Street Journal and interviewed on CNN. Absent a pandemic, I split my time between Hodgson Russ, LLP's New York City, Buffalo, and Palm Beach offices.
