Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:18 Like many artists, my professional journey has been something of a winding road, at times a challenging uphill climb, others, a pleasant stroll through the leafy green. No matter where my path has taken me, I step out with the faith that God goes before me and makes a way for me. I do my best to bring the love of Jesus wherever I happen to be. Ministry My life as a pastor began in the mid-70's, in the only English-speaking protestant church in Guatemala. Many years later, I continue to minister, through house churches, spiritual formation and direction, and working to bring the love and teachings of Jesus to at risk youth in a tall ship program. Ministry has also led me to serve as an Interim Preaching Pastor, leading a congregation through a time of transition, adjustment and refocus. With Experiential Ministries, my wife and I lead workshops, house church groups and creative and artistic group spiritual adventures in a variety of settings. Art Art, and the creative application of art, are an important part of my personal and spiritual expression. As an Imagineer with Disney, I enjoyed the challenge of contributing to and leading projects to create theme park shows and scenery that are still part of the Disney experience. With Illusion Masters, a company I own with my talented wife, I design and create faux architectural finishes in settings, both commercial and residential. As a professor of stagecraft and design, I bring a lifetime of skills and experience to facilitate hands-on learning to college students. We work together to design and create an authentic setting for the performers to practice their craft and expression. I believe that God is continually present; that he seeks a personal relationship with each of us, and that he will never stop hoping that we in turn, will seek him out.
