I am an experienced Manager in Strategic Planning, Change Management, Analysis and Business Modelling in fast moving businesses. I am also a Chair and member of Trustee Boards in the charity sector, experienced in steering organisations through recent challenges. My professional passion is improving the experience of an organisation's customers and clients through fulfilling the potential of and motivating staff, enabling them to deliver the organisational goals effectively. I am the Chair of Refugee Action Kingston and a Trustee of Man & Boy. I am a part of the leadership of the youth groups at my church. These roles reflect my values of increasing opportunity and reducing inequality in our society. In my most recent role as Strategic Planning Manager at British Gas field operations, I transformed the governance processes for operational disruption due to events such as extreme weather occurrences, leading to significant customer experience improvement by reducing time to return to plan by over 50%. I led development of the operational plan risk assessment, and was a core contributor to the Service Recovery plan and development of the Sales and Operational Plan process, I have a track record of delivering major benefits through application of performance analysis, business transformation and communication skills to a wide range of operational and strategic issues. I am experienced in leading complex change programmes, including integration and outsourcing, I have a structured, logical approach founded upon a background of many years in Operational Research. I have a strong grounding in programme and project management and I bring together many disciplines, including OR, Business Intelligence, Lean / CI and specific business area expertise to deliver effective change programmes. I have a proven record of ability to understand issues in a new area very quickly. I have many years experience in a number of industries, including aviation, utilities and emergency services, and in a range of business areas, including Operations, Customer Experience, Planning and Business Strategy.
