Mark and Julie have also co-founded businesses and patented products across categories including jewelry, lighting, apparel, eyewear, and health.Mark is also the founder of Alivened, a high-performance skincare startup on a mission to grow thoughtfully, make a meaningful impact, and empower users through healthier skin and greater self-esteem.He serves on the of Board Directors of Just Björn, has served on the Board of Directors and as a Trustee of the Life Sciences Foundation, on the Board of Directors and as a Trustee of the Asperger Foundation International, and as a member of the Dean’s Leadership Committee at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning.
