About Mark Langley

Mark is a senior IT professional with 20+ years experience, mostly in the retail sector, with a broad range of IT functions and services, starting life as a developer through to operational and strategic management. With several years working abroad for a large department store retailer with multi location, multi channel, warehousing and jewellery businesses; this was a life changing experience and educated him on the challenges in working in different locations and cultures. Mark returned to the UK in 2002 and worked for a leading luxury retail group, managing their North Atlantic Technology, Warehousing, Supply Chain and store openings/projects. Until a recent acquisition, Mark was Head of IT & Service Delivery for Professional Services company managing risk and compliance. Mark represented IT and Operations on the due diligence process of the acquisition and similarly when Exor acquired TiVA Services Ltd. In the last 10 yrs, Mark has been focusing on the emerging market of Salesforce.com, SaaS & ERP systems, moving away from traditional in-house systems to cloud environments. Extensive experience in business process analysis, workflow and business automation His team have been responsible for gaining ISO-9001 (quality) and ISO-27001 (data security & policy management) Accreditation's, as well as holding data protection license, in the last 3 years. Business Intelligence was a considerable area of focus at Exor and involved providing Spend Analysis for over 300 public sector and educational clients over 5 years. Mark has built up considerable networking, telephony, call centre and infrastructure experience as well as staff management, budgets and strategic business alignment through Technology. His strengths are in change management, solutioning, process re-engineering and driving a culture of solutions around IT & business strategy.
