DESIGNER: Designed custom and standard indoor/outdoor lighting products, included specification of materials, manufacturing processes, and custom finishes to meet customer lighting demands. Designed new LED products for indoor & outdoor lighting. Created installation drawings for outdoor lighting for field installation accessibility. Coordinated transfer and integration of the outdoor product line into another corporate division and organized transfer of part numbers from Vantage to Oracle program; resulting in corporate cost reductions. DRAFTSMAN Designed robotic assembly line machines and electrical enclosure boxes: providing customers with state of the art automated equipment. Designed wire forming machine components/tooling, jigs and fixtures, punch and die tooling, EMD tooling, and injection/gravity molds and parts; supporting a wide variety of customer needs. Designed tooling for progressive dies, vertical slide machines, press brakes, punch presses, jigs and fixtures, custom welder/electrodes; ensuring production of quality products. Designed custom cams for wire forming machines; including layout and evaluation of motion timing for precise control of tool movements to improve the manufacturing process. Designed wire, sheet metal, and tubing products, including weldments, and assemblies. PROJECT MANAGEMENT Managed program operations, giving various groups leadership & direction, resulting in improved process controls and increased safety/security within the work area. Developed standardized training program, ensuring standardized training of over 200 personnel. Designed process tracking control tool to ensure 100% of personnel were fully trained, equipped and prepared to perform duties.
