About Mark Larsen

Mark is an experienced Vice President of Fortune 1 Walmart for 21 years, nearly 26 years in total. He also spent 7 years with May Department stores. He is known for his collaboration, people leadership, ability to simplify complex topics, strategic thinking and analytical competencies. He has the reputation of consistently delivering exceptional results with the highest integrity, always the right way. Mark has made significant impacts across Merchandising, Store Operations and most recently Merchandise Operations; including financial planning, replenishment, supply chain, modulars and pricing in his experience as a corporate officer. Mark has most recently lead the Omni Merchandise Operations team for Entertainment, Toys and Seasonal (over $37B). Mark built this Omni team and has accelerated the drive to become a digital organization. In his prior role, he led the Financial Planning organization for the entirety of Walmart’s General Merchandise business(over $100B in revenue). He has deep experience across all GM businesses as well as portions of Consumables including OTC, Optical and Baby. He is extremely fond and proud of his experience in Store Operations leading the team of 126 Walmart stores and over 30k associates in Arkansas/Missouri. Mark has served on Arkansas Children’s Hospital Board (10 years), American Heart Association, Rebuilding Together, 1-800 Contacts and numerous local boards. Mark currently lives in Northwest Arkansas with his wife, Tena.
