About Mark Law

Often referred to as someone versatile, I’ve had a diverse range of working experience in a variety of industries – creative, media, sales, exhibition, marketing, etc. I am a passionate individual who jumps at every opportunity to make great ideas come to life. I find great fulfilment, especially, in creating meaningful impressions that linger on even after a campaign is over. I studied Graphic Design majoring in Advertising at the Limkokwing Institute of Creative Technology (LICT) & began a career in sales in the Advertising Department of The Star Media Group (SMG) in 2004. Even though I was the most junior in the department, I was able to inject creativity in my sales approach which helped me achieve an excellent sales track record in 2 different divisions, Classifieds & Direct. I eventually emerged as top in sales for both divisions for the year 2005-2006 & 2010. I’ve always been passionate about the endless opportunities that the digital world had to offer. And because I was agile & eager in selling new digital solutions, I was blessed to have been recognised & recommended to the New Media Department in 2011 to assist the team at StarProperty. It was here that I had the opportunity to be exposed to the real estate industry. Knowing the ins & outs of the real estate industry was valuable to me as I eventually left SMG after a decade & joined an exhibition organiser in April 2014, organising property, homes & consumer food exhibitions. One of my more notable achievements here was single-handedly organizing property exhibition, which saw a large number of properties sold in the event itself. Eventually, I left the exhibition industry in September 2016 to venture into the client's side by joining Linaco in October 2016 & I’ve been here ever since. Linaco specializes in coconut, sauce, herbs & spices products. At Linaco, I was given opportunities to establish websites, SocMed, e-commerce platforms & build a stronger relationship with Matrade for the group. Through our team’s effort, Linaco received numerous awards such as Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) Excellence Award, Star Outstanding Business Awards (SOBA), Export Excellence Award, Asia Pacific Organisation Award, Global Performance Excellent Award & Golden Globe Tiger Awards. I am also involved in the Malaysia Business Group, a conglomerate of export-oriented F&B manufacturers in Malaysia.
