About Mark Lichman

As an innovative and versatile leader in product development and management, I bring to market products and services that enhance collaboration among users and improve operational success. Specializing in the healthcare industry, I roadmap, design, test, and launch products and features that elevate the patient experience. I am currently leading a team of UX/UI designers at Vocera Communications in optimizing a mobile and web application product that improves in-patient clinical communications and workflow among nursing, physician, and ancillary care teams. My team has developed and released multiple iterations of the product and supporting infrastructure, positioning the company as a desirable asset for acquisition by Stryker in 2022. Since then, I’ve headed several joint innovation efforts with the larger post-merger organization. Earlier examples of my work include:* Defined and validated the business strategy and product roadmap for Paxos Mobile’s mobile app: DigiSight. Led efforts to present product value to emergency departments while identifying integration needs for EHR systems.* Coached engineering teams in adopting real-world clinical scenarios while implementing continuous process improvement strategies and QA automations in order to reduce new product feature validation time by 2x.* Established MDi Touch to launch a new mobile consumer application and computer vision algorithm; negotiated and sold licensing agreements to several industry partners.
