I have worked within the Information Technology (IT) sector for over 23 years, various different business sectors included graphic design, commercial and financial printing and the music industry.I became involved with IT in the health-care sector in 2003 when I was appointed Head of IT at an independent health-care provider. It was there that I achieved a number of notable firsts and my capabilities became so well known that late in 2008, I set up my own IT management consultancy called Pivot Infomatrix. Much to the appreciation of numerous clients, I applied the know-how, experience consistently to successfully manage and complete many diverse IT projects.With the objective of providing a complete and integrated service to the health-care industry, Pivot Infomatrix and ClinMed consultancy merged at the end of 2010 and I was appointed Director of Informatics and Head of Consultancy. ClinMed consultancy is a specialist health IT provider, the company designs, develops and delivers ICT applications and management services that support the clinical administrative, business intelligence (BI), data analysis, information security (IS)/ governance and connectivity requirements of health-care organisations within the private, non-profit and public sector.This progression of my career life has given me more than 11 years IT consultancy experience within the health-care business sector with my skill sets focused on application/system infrastructure development, information security & governance and information/data analysis. Being Responsible for the consultation, management and delivery of many complex projects has helped myself to gain progressive knowledge, the ability to undertake, teach, deliver new concepts and allowed my main skill sets to be built up to a high level of expert understanding.
