Energetic, passionate and highly motivated real estate professional with over 25 years of diverse experience as a developer, investor, adviser, property manager, broker, and including principal, managing member and director level roles. Experience across all property types and sizes, geographies, and market cycles. Added specialization and expertise in complex development/re-development projects. As to personal interests and activities, I am very much a sports enthusiast, and enjoy family time, staying healthy and fit, music, travel/culture and everything outdoors. My resume includes having founded and managed as President/CEO an opportunity-driven real estate development and management company. May project experiences, whether as a principal, employee, consultant or other similar manager or lead role, have always included active, hands on participation, frequently entailed undertaking and leading the full development life cycle responsibilities, with such endeavors having further encompassed build-to-suit, speculative, new and renovation/value-add projects. For instance, I served as managing member/development manager of a large scale (27-acre, roughly 350 units)$80 million senior living campus development located along the East Coast/mid-Atlantic region, and as Company Director of Development with lead role in developing a $300 million 5-star Hotel-Timeshare Resort in Antigua whose design and underwriting incorporated a 378-unit (2,873 economic units) beachfront resort including over the water bungalows and hillside/beach high-end villas and hotel/timeshare/CIP condo living units. My career has further included holding the position of General Legal Counsel responsible for all company legal affairs including major contract negotiations/administration, entitlements/land use matters and dispute resolution, while simultaneously acting as a Senior Development/Asset Manager with full life cycle responsibility on a wide ranging portfolio of commercial/industrial assets. I received my J.D. degree from UC Hastings College of Law in San Francisco and a B.S. degree (real estate and finance concentration) in Business Administration having graduated from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. I am a currently licensed California attorney and real estate broker and additionally hold a CFP ® (Certified Financial Planner) professional certification.
