About Mark Mao

I'm a 4th year Accounting student at the University of Toronto Mississauga. I'm currently working towards my CPA designation and aiming to get experience in the fields of Audit and Tax! Exploring the many opportunities of business is something that I've always wanted to do, ever since I started watching Dragon's Den and Shark Tank as a child. I have a strong academic record and communication skills. I'm very open minded, always looking for different perspectives, and work great in team! Through my time at university, I've built up a great technical foundation of accounting, economics, and general business knowledge. I've had the opportunity to improve and strengthen my excel skills as well as develop leadership skills through many group projects. In my off time, I enjoy learning (mostly through YouTube and websites such as Wikipedia) more about random topics that interest me (from space to geopolitics, geography, engineering, and much more!). I also enjoy computer programming and have projects that I work on!
