Significant experience in all aspects of civil litigation with over 30 years experience as primary trial and appellate counsel- Trial experience in both State and Federal Courts in subject areas including construction claims, civil rights, contracts, unfair trade practices, employment discrimination and torts, both plaintiff and defense counsel- In labor and employment area, broad experience in administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York State Division of Human Rights and New York State Department of Labor- Represent municipal governments in all aspects of public sector labor matters, including collective bargaining and administrative hearings with the New York State Public Employment Relations Board-Counsel public and private sector entities on issues such as employee discipline, work place safety, and best practices for employment rules and procedures-Broad experience representing clients before state administrative agencies in contract and procurement matters, as well as issues of regulatory oversight, in anticipation of or in order to avoid litigation.
