About Mark McComsey

Chief Investment Officer; Chief Executive Officer for Illumine Investment Management(IIM). Prior to co-founding IIM, Mark was the Co-Founder and Managing Director of McComsey Asset Management, where he served as its Chief Investment Officer. Mark began his finance career at Merrill Lynch as investment adviser and worked on independent research study on analyst earnings estimates that formed the basis for his investment process. Mark’s investment approach begins with a focus on earnings revisions and belief that accurate analysts provide a powerful edge in validation of growth as well as recognizing deterioration early. This foundation combined with investing in high quality, liquid, growing companies with low debt and low beta is the basis for the creation of the multiple disciplined strategies now being offered at Illumine Investment Management. This approach is backed by over 19 years of research and managing strategies for over 15 years. Mark attended the University of Southern California where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Mark's diverse personal interests include bicycling, hiking, travel, CNC CAD, CAM and machining, industrial design, cooking and wood working.
