About Mark McGuire

Pursing further training and experience in the field of language instruction, particularly related to English as a foreign language (EFL) and as a second language (ESL). The former is intended for strictly functional, business purposes, while the latter is for cultural exposure and immersion-I have trained university students, currently more than of them, in one or the other for the better part of a decade. The focus of my own education is language teaching within a linguistics perspective, focused on the scientific realities of the acquisition of phonological and syntactical language rules, etc. Conducting experiments on the acquisition of untaught or unteachable aspects of conversation protocol, e.g."politeness" in speech. My aspirations, depending on circumstances, are to pursue a higher degree. Whether that is available or not, my work will likely be in another country following my graduation.
