I am a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Audit and Assurance practice in New York City with a deep understanding of both accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America (US GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in addition to a deep understanding of the proper design and operating of internal controls over financial reporting and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance. I have served clients in several different industries including, retail, construction, manufacturing, technology, power and utilities, and renewable energy. I have extensive experience providing audit services to both private and public companies ranging in size from small, start-up companies to large, international corporations. I have significant experience managing a team and serving as the main point of contact with the executive management of clients including working with the Chief Financial Officer, Controller, and Accounting Vice Presidents and Directors. I also have extensive experience reviewing financial statements and financial reporting documents including public filings made with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) such as Form 10-K and Form 10-Q. I have also attended and presented at quarterly meetings of the Board of Directors as a Deloitte representative. I also have a deep understanding of complex technical accounting subjects including revenue recognition, goodwill, impairment or disposal of long-lived assets, regulated operations, related parties, inventory valuation, allowance for doubtful accounts, unbilled revenue, environmental liabilities, and purchase price allocation. I have a Master’s Degree in Accounting, and I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of New York.
