Sustainability focused entrepreneur with a proven track record in transforming ideas into successful ventures. As Founder of Offset Energy Partners (OEP) and Co-Founder of OFX EcoSolutions (OFX), I'm privileged to lead a globally recognized team that harnesses the power of nature-based solutions to advance multiple sustainability initiatives within the oil and gas industry and improve biodiversity within our local communities. At OEP and OFX, our sustainability and carbon management solutions help de-carbonize oil and gas plugging and remediation operations, generate carbon removal credits, and meet several UN - Sustainable Development Goals. Before OFX, I co-founded Kola Venture Group, a company with holdings in various cannabinoid ventures, such as BeVarin Wellness, specializing in ailment-specific therapeutics. As a managing partner, my role spans corporate administration, legal, and financial oversight. With over 15 years of experience in originating, negotiating, and structuring successful startups and exits, I have built and nurtured numerous respected companies. Passionate about guiding startups to success, I serve as an advisor in the oil and gas, hemp, biochar, and eco-services industries. In 2008, I co-founded a pioneering boutique private equity firm focused on oil and gas mineral acquisitions. It was among the first to offer crowdfunding investment opportunities in the industry, launching and managing over 10 mineral and royalty investment funds during an 8-year period. I'm grateful to share my life with my wife of 33 years, our two children, and our two pups in Boulder, Colorado.
