About Mark Messner

Mark has lived in the Phoenix area for over fifty years. He has raised five children here. Mark had a thirty year career in the hospitality business. In college he worked as a bellman in two iconic hotels in Central Phoenix, The Clarendon House and Del Webb's Townehouse. This is where Mark learned the hospitality trade and sharpened his skills with celebrities and sports legends.He has shown actress Betty Davis to her room, chatted with former Dallas Cowboy Ed "Too Tall" Jones and conversed while riding the team bus with Boston Celtics legends John Havlicek and Dave Cowens. From the hotel industry he began working in management for the McDonald's Corporation. Quickly climbing the ladder at the age of twenty four he became the general manager of one of the busiest locations in Arizona that employed over 100 employee's! From there in the 1980's Mark went on to supervise a chain of restaurants called Pistol Pete's Pizza. and eventually went on to own and operate a very successful pizza restaurant, Pepi's Pizza. In 2007 Marks involvement in his community earned him an award from the City of Phoenix Chamber of Commerce for the business that contributed the most to the community. In 2008 he launched a career in the auction business. Mark worked in the procurement department at Auction Systems where they boost annual sales in excess of 100 million dollars. There he procured items for one of the largest auction houses in the Southwest. After a few years in the auction business he went on to obtain his real estate license. He now is a Realtor and has enjoyed it thoroughly. Two days after being licensed he was sitting in a clients house taking the listing to put it up for sale and helping them find another home. That pace has continued on and he is having a very successful career in residential real estate. However life is too short to be all about work. When he isn't working he is enjoying his family, church, classic cars and watching and playing sports.
