Eighteen years as a finance professional primarily in the media/entertainment industry. Advanced through positions of increased accountability within the Corporate Finance Group at News Corporation, while leading and mentoring staff which was frequently changing. At News Corporation, led a team of six through the P&L and Cash Flow Budgeting and Forecasting processes as well as the weekly flashes, and monthly/quarterly closes. I was the point person for the 40+ divisions in regards to management reporting requirements and worked closely with the heads of the divisional finance teams to rectify issues, improve financial data submitted while keeping the needs of both the divisions and corporate in the fore front of the discussion. Transferred to a subsidiary of News Corporation after almost six years at Corporate. While at MyNetworkTV, I revamped the entire financial reporting model. Streamlining the planning, forecasting, and monthly processes utilizing dynamic reports created with a report writer. This led to cutting the preparation time in half. I created the ad revenue forecasts and budgets by working with the Ad sales teams to derive financial results based on CPMs, ratings, sell-outs, etc. As part of the annual budget process, I created the budget presentation which was subsequently utilized by the CFO and President of the Network as part of the budget meeting with News Corporation executives.
