About Mark Michael

I have worked for the same company now since 1995 filling multiple roles. I started in the quality control department for E&B Paving. In 2004 I was offered an opportunity to follow my heart and expand my knowledge by working many years as a both a safety & environmental manager for imi/E&B Paving on the corporate side. In December of 2020 my role changed again as I became the Environmental Manager for Irving Materials Construction & Aggregates divisions (E&B Paving, Specialties Company, & Aggregate locations) I now focus on our Asphalt & Concrete plants associated with road construction as well as all Irving Materials Aggregate sites. Responsibilities include identifying & addressing any environmental concerns, creating & conducting training, and ensuring we maintain all environmental permitting, plans, and paperwork required for compliance. I’m proud to be part of our IMI Environmental team. I hold the Associociate Safety Professional (ASP). Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), and OSHA Instructor certifications in safety as well as my Certified Erosion, Sediment, & Stormwater Inspector (CESSWI) certification for Environmental. I have extensive experience working with and repairing computers and software issues. I enjoy learning new technologies and ways to use the computers to improve efficiency. I have certificates in Geographic Information Science from IUPUI & Human Resource Management from Purdue University, I am also a Indiana Certified Emergency Medical Technician, and Waste Water Operator class A-SO.
