Background

About Mark Midle

I am a Managing Director at Lateral Investment Management, a founder-focused private equity firm, where I lead investments in software and tech-enabled services companies with strong growth potential. Prior to joining Lateral, I was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where for nearly a decade I led investments in enterprise technology companies for Goldman Sachs Growth Equity. Earlier in my career, I was a private equity and growth-stage investor at Bain Capital, Great Hill Partners, and The Blackstone Group. Over the past two decades, I have served at the Board-level of more than twenty companies and established a track record of partnering with founders and management teams to help companies scale, innovate, and create extraordinary long-term value. I am driven by a deep passion for uncovering growth opportunities and working alongside ambitious teams to realize their vision.
