About Mark Moeller

Dr. Mark Moeller is a Senior Physician, Professional Development Specialist, and Healthcare Strategist with The Permanente Medical Group (TPMG) in Northern California. With over 14 years of clinical and leadership experience, he is passionate about improving the health and well-being of patients, physicians, and teams. He is board certified and licensed in both Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine, and practices full scope primary care with a focus on prevention and lifestyle interventions. As a strategic leader and mentor, Dr. Moeller has spearheaded several initiatives to enhance physician engagement, development, and wellness within TPMG. He developed and launched TPMG's first validated Joy and Meaning in Medicine (JAMM) assessment tool and helped author the response "playbook", designed to help operational leaders reduce team burnout and increase job satisfaction, care quality, and efficiency. He has also served as the APIC of People Development, the Wellness Lead for the Regional Adult and Family Chiefs Group, and the Chair of the Regional Family Medicine Leads Group. He is a skilled and dynamic public speaker, and has presented on dozens of topics to hundreds of physicians within and outside TPMG. He leverages his business background and medical knowledge to solve complex problems in the health care space, and aims to create a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
