Data management is life!” Hyperbole? Not if you are an organization that depends upon data for its existence and ongoing success. To one degree or another this includes all organizations. For me, organizations having a healthy and sustainable data management life involves empowering PEOPLE to be sufficiently data-literate to effectively execute well thought-out PROCESSES that enable them to get the most out of the data TOOLS at their disposal. I use my training and years of experience to help people and their organizations discover strategies and pathways for addressing their unique data management needs. Doing so requires a combination of structure and pragmatism. Excessive pragmatism is directionless. Excessive structure is stifling. I help organizations apply the right balance to achieve sustainable data management success.
