About Mark Moots

A certified public accountant, Mr. Moots began his career with Deloitte & Touche. After 7 years of public accounting experience, he entered the investment management industry accumulating significant business expertise through a wide range of business roles including corporate and divisional controller, treasurer and outsourcing/offshoring project manager. Additionally, he has served as the chief financial officer and financial and operations principal (FINOP) for a securities broker/dealer and a national trust company. Mark’s 13 years with Invesco Ltd. has offered him experience with business strategy and development, forecasting, mergers and acquisitions, cash and debt management, due diligence and acquisition integration, accounting operations, technical accounting analysis, employee benefit administration, financial statement construction and managerial reporting. His leadership experience includes management of a large shared service accounting organization and director of several process change projects. Uniquely, he has experience in financial statement conversions to / from International Accounting Standards (IFRS) and US GAAP. Before joining Invesco, Mark was the CFO and Treasurer with Caldwell & Orkin, Inc, an Atlanta-based investment management firm. He is currently leading an global Oracle R12 implementation for a financial services firm, Global Payments, Inc. Mr. Moots is recognized for his integrity and leadership in business as well as in worthy charitable activities. He is an active member of the Knights of Columbus serving as its Youth Program Director as well contributes his time to the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children and regularly coaches youth basketball. Mr. Moots earned a BBA in Accountancy with honors from the University of Notre Dame, receiving an invitation to join Beta Alpha Psi National Accounting Honors Society. He resides in Norcross, GA with his wife and their three children.
