I am a Strategic thinker who finds it a challenge to sort through the clutter of situations in order to see the big picture. I look for patterns, options and creative solutions to problems. I am interested in initial or early stage ministry project management. I am energized by going into a situation that requires a self-starter, problem solving, relationship and partnership building, cultural and global competence, and the strategic ability to sort through options and plot the initial course of a new or fledgling project or ministry.SUMMARY: Retired U.S. Army Chaplain with 28 years ministry experience; 20 years as a chaplain in direct ministry and ministry management, as well as eight years of civilian parish and missions’ related experience• Experienced leader and first line supervisor with six years of supervision time in training, mentoring, and resourcing for 24 subordinate chaplains and their chaplain assistants• A flexible and versatile lead-man and mission representative with 26 plus years of interdenominational and ecumenical relations experience• A trained and experienced cross-cultural and humanitarian worker with international travel and work experience spanning five continents and 16 countries• A dedicated team player & builder experienced in inter-office coordination, effective interpersonal communication and with a proven background in administration, staff work and ministry support
