About Mark Mullen

Mark Mullen is a professional AVL specialist with over 25 years’ experience in audio, broadcast, IT, live event production, media production, production management, project management, theatre, and video. Mark began his career working with theaters and production companies designing and operating lighting, sound, and video systems. His experiences range from small black box theaters to large outdoor venues producing corporate events, concerts, dance, theater, opera and video/broadcasting.He has worked with Aramark, American Music Theater, Armstrong, Dutch Apple, Excel Productions, Fulton Theatre, FMC, GM, Live Sound, Rodale Press, VA Productions and many other clients to produce events and live performances.Mark is a broadcast engineer and media specialist with Millersville University maintaining their broadcast studios, editing rooms, recording studios, specialty labs and large venue sound systems.Mark provides consultation, design, and value engineering services for audio, broadcast, lighting, theater, and video through Proviaus, a private company he started in 1996.A firm believer in supporting fellow professionals, Mark is the Chair of the Philadelphia Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) chapter and Vice-Chair of the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) Chapter 41.
