About Mark Murray

While I was studying at university (the first time) my motto was "I'm an engineer; I can do anything". It has stood the test of time. As my career progressed from engineering to wine making, then to IT, that positive attitude has helped me embrace new challenges, overcome obstacles and achieve success. Such as automating business processes in wine making, obtaining a degree in IT, and receiving awards for my study achievements, and building mobile apps. Working in IT at IBM, I was fortunate to have worked with a range of amazing technologies to build enterprise, web and mobile applications, building web services, hybrid mobile apps, using novel techniques for data migration, application integration and much more. Now, I am a Systems Integration Specialist, designing and building integrations between multiple systems. I engage with business experts to capture requirements, work with architects and solution designers to find the optimum solution, then actively design and build the integration, together with my team, and follow through with testing and deployment to operations and ongoing monitoring and enhancements. My major toolkit is the Azure ecosystem - Azure Integration Services and much more. I'm still learning.
